Eternals, Pride y La-Lista de nominados a los premios GLAAD 2022

Los premios GLAAD 2022 se suman a la revelación de su lista de nominados. Como en sus 32 galas pasadas, reconocen a las representaciones justas, precisas e inclusivas de la comunidad LGBTQ+, así como los problemas que tienen en la cotidianidad.

En un acto que presidió Gottmil, finalista de la temporada 13 de RuPaul’s Drag Race, se revelaron a todos los nominados de este año, entre las que se incluyen historias de personas afrodescendientes y transgénero dentro de la comunidad.

Creados en 1990, son los premios LGBTQ+ más visibles del mundo y envían un mensaje sobre la aceptación a una audiencia global.

“Los medios pueden crear un cambio positivo y los nominados de este año representan proyectos, historias y creadores poderosos que cambiaron positivamente la cultura e iluminaron a las audiencias con historias LGBTQ nuevas e impactantes,” dijo a través de un comunicado Sarah Kate Ellis, presidenta y directora ejecutiva de la organización.

A nivel general, los servicios de streaming consiguieron 63 nominaciones, mientras el cable logró 39; las cadenas televisivas recibieron 17. HBO obtuvo 19; Netflix, 17; Hulu, siete; mientras ABC, MSNBC y Peacock, cuatro. Univision y Telemundo, dos.

Será el próximo 2 de abril cuando se lleve a cabo la ceremonia de los premios GLAAD en el Beverly Hilton de Los Ángeles, pero el 6 de mayo otra gala se hará en el Hilton Midtown de Nueva York.
